In social studies, students will be working on their presentations for the rest of this week. They must be ready to present on Monday morning.
For science, students were tasked with completing a worksheet about droughts from a website linked to the assignment in Google Classroom. This must be finished by tomorrow morning.
For reading, students read their biographies and took notes. Tomorrow, students will have an opportunity to read their biography if they finish their ISAT test early. We will be moving forward with the creation of a poster on Thursday.
For writing, we reviewed expectations for the persuasive letters to Mr. Gilbert. Students who were finished were given the opportunity to trade with another classmate for revising. Tomorrow, our writing time will be taken up by the ISAT, so we may not have time to work on the letters.
Finally, we would like to leave you with a quote today from American author, salesman, and motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar, “There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs.”
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
IN THIS CLASS, IT IS NOT ABOUT WHAT WE KNOW, IT IS ABOUT WHAT WE DO WITH WHAT WE KNOW!
