- Reading: The Red Pyramid Ch. 7-9 (Ch. 1-9 summaries due Monday)
- Science: Ch. 1 L. 2 Notes
- Social Studies: Proper Searches
- Language: Quick Write / Fragments and Run-ons Review Worksheet
- Math: Division Algorithm Lesson 2
First of all, students were given back a language arts paper to make corrections if they would like. The corrections must be on a separate sheet of paper and sentences written out. They may turn it in on Monday for full credit if they have not already done so. This will be the same process for any papers sent home for corrections.
The students took a quiz today over chapters 1-6 of The Red Pyramid. The grades will be in the gradebook by Monday afternoon. The students will also get those back to make corrections using the same format that is mentioned in the above paragraph.
Students are also expected to have chapters 1-9 finished by Monday morning. Each chapter must have a short summary about the events. The guideline was roughly 2-4 sentence per summary. We did the summaries for chapters 1-5 in class, so those should already be finished and be of high quality. Please check for those this weekend.
For math, we did one more practice worksheet on partial quotients, and then we made it through a good chunk of lesson 2. We will continue on Monday and there will be some practice problems to work on at that time.
As always, feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments.
