In social studies, students continued to work on researching information for their questions. Students are working together to determine how they will present their information without using a powerpoint.
In science, student took a rock cycle test. We will have these graded and handed back tomorrow or Thursday for students to make corrections and earn points back.
In reading, students are still working through their biography books. They need to be finished by 4/18. We apologize, we had the wrong due date on yesterday’s email. The correct date is the 18th. The final project will be due on April 25th. This gives students 8 days to have their entire book read. We STRONGLY encourage student to read their books at home in order to have their book done on time. Students are tasked with taking notes in google classroom during their reading. They need to have 5 important ideas from each chapter.
For writing, students are working on researching information that supports their persuasion letter. Students will need to have their final letter written by Monday morning.
Finally, we would like to leave you with a quote today from former theoretical physicist, Albert Einstein, “Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.”
