- Field Trip - May 17
- ALL PROJECTS DUE ON MAY 18th
- State parade @ 2:15 on FRIDAY - MAY 18th
In math, students have ONE more day to work on their commercial. We had several groups film today and begin work on editing their videos. We will continue with our last day of work on Friday.
In social studies, students worked on state floats. We told them that we will no longer be checking notes because they should have had them done by now. We will grade whatever is finished by the end of class on Friday. Also, remember that the parade is on Friday at 2:15 for anyone who would like to view the projects.
In science, students are working on creating their water efficient homes. We will see how much their work has paid off on Friday.
In reading, students are working on their topics for the website. Many of them have been cleared on their notes, while there still remains many who do not have enough information. We asked for at least 3 paragraphs per page of information about the topic. We expect that students are working at home if they are behind.
In writing, the students voted on using this time as a study hall to work on their projects.
Finally, we would like to leave you with a quote today from American actor and producer, Dwayne Johnson, “Success isn't always about greatness. It's about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.”
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
IN THIS CLASS, IT IS NOT ABOUT WHAT WE KNOW, IT IS ABOUT WHAT WE DO WITH WHAT WE KNOW!
