Math: Division of Fractions/Fractions to Decimals - Due March 21st
Social Studies: Research Wax Museum Person - Due March 22nd
Reading: 3 Entries for personal book reading
- Spring Break - March 26 - 30
In math, we worked on dividing fractions and turning fractions into decimals. Students have a test over what we have been covering in class. Students’ worksheet is due tomorrow at 8:15.
Students continued to work on their packet for their wax figure. The packet needs to be completed by Thursday. Some students have started working on their monologue that they will be saying. This is a completion grade.
In science, students took a quiz. As soon as quizzes are graded, we will give students the opportunity to make corrections..
In reading, students are now expected to do reading entries every day for a book of their choice. We are giving them a chance to do some reading of their choice in order for them to enjoy it more. The entries are to ensure they are reading and understanding. Students should have a total of 3 entries so far.
In writing, we worked through an article from Harvard Health. The students were tasked to answer if fats were good or bad based on what the article said. We will be working more on this tomorrow.
As always, if students use their time wisely in class, they should have little to nothing to take home. However, this is not the case for many students. We encourage you to go through their assignments with them. We are writing in agendas at the end of the day. Students should have the assignments and due dates written in their agendas. Each student should have an agenda, but if they do not, a notebook will work just as well.
Finally, we would like to leave you with a quote today from former Italian-American football player, coach, and executive in the National Football League, Vince Lombardi, “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
IN THIS CLASS, IT IS NOT ABOUT WHAT WE KNOW, IT IS ABOUT WHAT WE DO WITH WHAT WE KNOW!
