Students were assigned their person of study for the Wax Museum project. We also gave them an overview of the project and the expectations. They will receive a rubric soon. We also took more notes over causes of the Revolution. We will continue notes tomorrow and maybe give students time to do some research.
We had a handful of students present their adaptation presentation to the class. We will be moving into new content tomorrow. We will start talking about the rock cycle and how the earth works. We are still determining if there will be a project associated with this unit. We will keep you up to date as we progress through the content.
For reading, students were given time to work today. They need to have their Life Maps finished on Wednesday. We are expecting them to have at least 4 years after high school covered in detail.
Students need to be working on their final project for poetry. The expectations can be found on Google classroom. This is due on the 14th.
As always, if students use their time wisely in class, they should have little to nothing to take home. However, this is not the case for many students. We encourage you to go through their assignment with them. We have started writing in agendas at the end of the day. Students should have the assignments and due dates written in their agendas. Each student was given an agenda at the beginning of the school year. If they have lost it, then they need to figure out how to keep track of the assignments in class. A notebook will work just as well if kept organized.
Finally, we would like to leave you with a quote today from BUD/S Navy Seal instructors, “There are two ways to do something...the right way, and again.”
